What No One Tells You About ‘Making It’

Chasing money, health, sex, and status won’t hit different until you reconnect with something higher.

Somewhere between a quarter life crisis or my frontal lobe developing 😂

I’ve come to realise that half of the stuff I cared about isn’t as important as I though they were before.

I yearned for so much just for me to get it and realise “is that it?“

Making peoples yearly wage in a month and still feeling unhappy?

The attention from women, the nice car, apartment, compliments on my “cool lifestyle”…

But somehow still feeling nothing?

I went away for two weeks to Albania and just disconnected from everything.

In that two weeks I came to a big realisation and why I was feeling so mehhh.

Money became just a piece of paper or numbers on a screen.

A healthy body became vanity and this thing to achieve for the world.

Sex became this meaningless physical activity.

Everything loses value without something greater to tie it to.

But when you connect it to a bigger mission that involved God, purpose, values everything shifts.

You make money to spend in the name of Allah, not just self.

You make money so you can perform your responsibility on your current & future family.

You take care of your body because you want your kids to have a father full of energy.

You take care of your body and mind because you realise you're a vessel.

You’re literally God’s avatar…how dare you not take care of how you look?

And when you understand how powerful your energy and seed really is you don’t want to just be shagging everything that walks.

I’m not saying this as someone who’s perfect. I fall short, often.

But here’s the truth I’ve landed on.

If you chase the world without anchoring it to a higher purpose, you’ll get what you wanted and still feel lost.

And that’s one of the most confusing places to be.

Having what you thought you wanted, but not knowing where to go next.

Now I’m so grateful I experienced this feeling this early on into my entrepreneurship journey.

I can see how people getting richer and feel even more lost because they have no anchor.

Now I anchor everything to my higher purpose: to serve God & leave my influence on this world.

Everything outside of that is fluff to me.

The results? I’ve been more disciplined and more motivated to get richer, fitter and just a better muslim man.

Wanting more of anything in this world isn’t evil.

Just make sure you’re doing it with your vision and purpose in mind.
