It’s the phone. That’s the problem.
Your brain probably so fired to can't read this
The issue is that phone g.
You couldn’t convince me otherwise.
I’m not even looking down on you cause sometimes I catch myself doing the same.
But it’s frying our brains and we don’t even realise it.
I used to scroll like it was my full time job.
Wake up, scroll. Take a break, scroll. Lying in bed, scroll.
Until one day I actually asked myself:
“What did I get from that 3-hour scroll session?”
Nothing. Not a single thing. No joy. No new ideas. No clarity.
Just a dopamine crash and overthinking what I should do with my business from consuming too much.
And don’t even get me started on the “it’s motivational/educational”
When you take no action it’s just time wasting and mental masturbation.
That shit is compulsive and it will quietly wrecking your ability to think deeply or be present with anything for longer than 60 seconds.
So I made a rule:
Screen time below 3 hours daily.
No scrolling before 10 a.m & my morning pray, walk, reading etc.
No scrolling after 8 p.m & no phone when I’m laying in bed.
The clarity you start to feel is insane.
You stop comparing yourself, business & ideas to others.
You start to feel like yourself again.
Like someone with purpose.
Like someone whose brain isn’t signed to the algorithm 😂
Just try it for just one day.
No scrolling and notice what changes.
The silence might feel uncomfortable but that’s the most important reason to lean into it.
